A room refinement is simple, convenient and affordable and it involves you: the most important part of any room in your home.  Your room needs to reflect you and your family’s interests.  A refinement will consist of evaluating how your family uses the room and what expectations you have for the room with respect to color and function.  We will rearrange the furnishings, if possible, for better flow and comfort.  We will discuss paint, lighting, window treatments and flooring, as well as your art and accessories.  In the end you will have a written design plan from which to work on things you wish to purchase or change (i.e. lighting, flooring, window treatments or paint).  Your design plan will allow you to take care of these projects as time allows.  It gives you a chance to take advantage of great sales in case you wish to purchase large pieces of furniture or art.  The fee is a set rate based on the size of the room rather than an hourly rate.

Color Refinement™

A color refinement is a service to assist you in color choices for your home.  Whether you wish to change the color or tweak what you already have.  We will discuss fabrics you’d like to introduce or use what is currently in the room.  Choosing colors is an important part of comfortable living and those colors need to fit you and your family.

Resale-Ready™

This service differs from a room refinement in that it involves you changing a home from ‘Ours’ to ‘Theirs’.  You know from watching home improvement shows on TV that the first thing new homeowners do to personalize a home is add color and the first thing you are advised to do as a seller is to neutralize the colors your family has used to make it your home.  This service is usually for the entire home and a check list of recommendations is given at the conclusion.

Art and Accessory Refinement™

This service usually involves rearranging your favorite things in a manner that is more pleasing to your style.  We do this at the time of the meeting and results are discussed and changed until you are satisfied.  This service provides immediate gratification for all.
